Here's your warning: Break one of these, win a free ban. This means that your image MUST BE landscape orientated, not portrait. Images MUST be at least 1024 wide by 768 high. (NSFW text? /r/Offensive_Wallpapers is probably where you need to be.) (Not that NSFW? /r/gmbwallpapers might be what you want. (and for context and if you werent aware, corsair and razor have no problem giving lighting control to wallpaper engine, making it as easy as possible to get things hooked up.NSFW posts are not allowed. Maybe if they ever add more than 9 ill use it. I'd probably like it a lot more if there was a way to get community wallpapers in there and have it allow for any level of customization, but its a difficult and lengthy process to make that happen and it all needs to be approved by asus. Its all way too complicated, when it surely cant be that hard to implement. The only way ive seen for people to actually get all their lights hooked up with wallpaper engine is a 3rd party app and going through armory crate, icue, and razor's software along with the 3rd party thing. Hate it! The literally 9 wallpapers are okay, but the whole thing feels like its more reason for them to give for not just letting wallpaper engine just run on aura. Like, this is legitimately the first piece of ASUS software that I didn't hate the first 30 mins after using, so that's a plus. I'm curious as to what everyone is thinking of this. But hey, it's free, and so far it doesn't use that much resource (?). Aura wallpaper only had a dozen or so, they're all ROG-gamery looking. But afaik it's fairly good, and the library is broad, and you can create your own wallpapers. It's some sort of cut-price wallpaper engine. I just thought that it was some ROG wallpapers, but turned out, it's not. Ofc Armoury Crate took the longest, because that's about the worst installing experience that I had ever had, and I basically have had many bad installing experience.īut anyway, I got it going (*pat on the back) and found that there was this aura wallpaper. I just set it up, set the lighting that I want, and then forgot about it, occasionally switching between profiles using the fan key.īut then MS decided to fuck me up and gave me a broken as W11 install, so I had to re-install to have Control Panel working (stuck w 10 btw).

For context, I had a G531, and had been ignoring Armoury Crate for a year now.
